Taormina :
  “Taormina Art” (July-September), an international exhibition of cinema, music, theatre, dance and masters’ videos.
  Sicilian Cart parade (end of May).
  Orange festival (October).

S. Alfio :
  St. Alfio’s Day. The feast official opening takes place on the last Sunday of April at noon, with great fireworks; there will be many different events on the following days.

Catania :
  St. Agata’s Day (February 3rd-5th), with the procession of the “candelore”, high structures made of carved and gilded wood, bell-tower or pyramid-shaped.

Riposto :
  St. Peter’s Day, patron saint (June 29th). Procession of the boats on the sea.

Agrigento :
  Every year, between the first and the second Sunday of February, Agrigento is the hub of the world with its “Sagra del Mandorlo in Fiore” and the related “Folk International Festival”.

Messina :
  International Trade Fair (August).
  The Giants’ Walk and the procession of the “Vara” (August 12th-15th).

Giardini Naxos :
  Patron saint’s Day Maria SS. Raccomandata (September 7th-9th).
  St. Pancrazio’s Day: every year a procession is formed on the sea by the fishermen’s motor boats which are lighted and decked with flags. The crowd welcomes the Saint’s statue on the beach in the midst of the rumble of the crackers and takes it in procession.

Syracuse :
  St. Lucia’s Day (December 13th).
  Classical performances at the Greek Theatre.

Zafferana :
  “Ottobrata Zafferanese” with festivals of grapes, “mostarda” (Italian sweet fruit pickles), mushrooms, wine and chestnuts (every Sundays of October).
